The Schaffner NSG 2025 EFT Burst Simulator is a high-end burst generator and the choice for users who require maximum pulse amplitude/frequency capabilities, flexibility, coupling network features, and EUT connectivity. Based on a “building block” concept, the Schaffner NSG 2025 allows you to select and combine pulse generators, couplings, and EUT adapters to create a flexible and scalable EMC test workstation to meet your current and future needs. It covers all widely used burst test specifications from IEC, EN, and ANSI-IEEE, as well as extended manufacturer requirements.

The Teseq/Schaffner NSG 2025 Fast Transient/Burst Generator offers the widest range of pulse voltages and burst frequencies available in a single instrument. Pulses can be coupled to the mains supply voltage or applied as pure high voltage for data and signal line testing.

Pre-programmed IEC standard testing is available at the push of a button, and pulse parameters can be configured by the user – either manually via the front panel controls or via Windows PC software control. The Teseq/Schaffner NSG 2025 not only meets all requirements of current global test standards with sufficient margin, but also anticipates possible future modifications with functions including a user-configurable burst frequency up to 1MHz and a wider range of selectable coupling modes.
