The Tektronix RSA5103A is a powerful 1 Hz to 3 GHz Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) known for its groundbreaking DPX® technology, which provides live, color-coded views of transient signals, capturing short events (down to 5.8 µs) missed by traditional analyzers. It offers high-speed analysis (up to 292,000 spectrums/sec), deep memory, advanced triggering, and multi-domain displays (spectrum, spectrogram, time domain) for applications like RF design, EMI diagnostics, and signal management, making it excellent for finding intermittent issues.

Option 50 (Internal Preamp): Adds an internal preamplifier operating in the 1 MHz to 3 GHz range. This feature increases the instrument’s sensitivity when measuring very weak signals by lowering the noise floor (DANL).

Option 21 (General Purpose Modulation Analysis): Adds general digital modulation analysis capabilities. Identifies analyzers for measuring signal quality parameters such as EVM, phase error, and magnitude error on various signal types (such as QPSK, QAM, etc.).
