The Geo SciAps Z-901 Handheld Lithium Analyzer is a handheld analyzer based on Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) technology specifically designed to rapidly detect and quantify lithium (Li) in the field in a variety of geological materials such as rocks, castings, powders, and brines.
This device is unique because standard X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) cannot detect lighter elements such as lithium, beryllium (Be), and boron (B).
