The SpectraMax® iD3s and iD5e Multi-Mode Microplate Readers deliver flexible, scalable solutions for absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence assays—with advanced capabilities for evolving research needs. The iD3s reader offers a streamlined, affordable platform with a tunable monochromator and temperature control, while the iD5e reader adds enhanced detection modes including time-resolved fluorescence (TRF) and tunable fluorescence polarization (FP) and can be expanded to include TR-FRET, HTRF, BRET and western blot. Both readers support on board fluidics with optional dual injectors.

SpectraMax iD3 multi-model microplate reader
The SpectraMax iD3 is a touch-screen controlled monochromator based multi-detection microplate reader that can acquire absorbance and fluorescence data from 6- to 384-well microplates, features UV/Vis Absorbance (Abs), Fluorescence Intensity (FI), and Luminescence (Lum) read modes, top and bottom microplate reading capability, 230-1000nm absorbance wavelength range, 250-830nm fluorescence excitation wavelength range, 270-850nm fluorescence emission wavelength range, 300-850nm luminescence wavelength range (300-650nm for all wavelengths setting), 1nm incremental wavelength selection, 5ºC above ambient to 66ºC temperature control, typical applications include ELISA, nucleic acid, protein, enzymatic type homogeneous and heterogeneous assays, microbial growth, and endotoxin testing, 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 2A.
